Explaining Arthritis to Your Child’s School and Teachers

This form can help you explain your child’s condition, medications and school implications.

Thanks to newer, aggressive treatments, juvenile arthritis is sometimes invisible to others. Your child may look the same as all the other kids in class, but as a parent, you want to make sure that your child's teachers are aware of her disease and its symptoms.

This simple general information form can help you communicate about your child's arthritis with teachers and school administrators. It is possible that your child’s school may require you to use its version.
