KEVZARA® (sarilumab) Administration Options

Now you can treat moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis (RA) with the Kevzara pen and pre-filled syringe which received an Arthritis Foundation ease of use commendation.

KEVZARA (sarilumab) is an injectable prescription medicine called an Interleukin-6 (IL-6) receptor blocker.  KEVZARA is used to treat adult patients with moderately to severely active rheumatoid arthritis (RA) after at least one other medicine called a disease modifying antirheumatic drug (DMARD) has been used and did not work well or could not be tolerated. KEVZARA offers 2 forms of administration for patients: a single dose button-free Pen that is designed to be comfortable to grasp, with an easy-to-remove needle cap, and a single-use syringe.  KEVZARA is administered under the skin (subcutaneously) once every 2 weeks, either on its own, or with methotrexate (MTX) or other DMARDs.
