Donating your vehicle is easy.
1. Donate online by completing the Vehicle Donation Form , or donate by calling the vehicle donation processing center toll-free, seven days a week, at 877-957-2277.
2. Once your form is processed, a towing service will call you within two to four business days to schedule a time to pick up your vehicle.
3. You will receive a receipt upon pickup; if your vehicle sells for more than $500, you will receive a postcard with the value for tax purposes.

What can I donate?
Our vehicle donation program accepts most vehicles and vessels, running or not, including, but not limited to, cars, trucks, trailers, motorcycles, boats, snowmobiles and RVs. Exceptions include older vehicles whose value would not offset the cost of towing. To find out if we can accept your vehicle, please complete the donation process , or call us at 877-957-2277.
How will my vehicle be picked up?
The processing center will arrange to have your vehicle towed away at a scheduled time by a professionally licensed, bonded and insured towing company. We can pick up accepted vehicles in all 50 of the United States, seven days a week.
How long will it take to pick up my vehicle?
Once your form is processed, a towing service will call you within two to four business days to schedule an appointment time to pick up your vehicle. If you need your vehicle to be picked up sooner, please let us know, as the processing center can often accommodate rush orders.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
The Arthritis Foundation is classified with the IRS as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Donations to the Arthritis Foundation are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. Because individual tax situations vary, please check with a tax professional to determine what, if any, tax benefit you may receive from your donation.
How will my vehicle’s value be determined for tax purposes?
Upon pickup of your vehicle, you will receive a receipt; if your vehicle sells for more than $500, you will also receive a postcard with the value for tax purposes.
