Community Connections
Community Connection volunteer roles include:
Group Facilitator – Live Yes! Connect Groups are peer-led groups that provide connections with others and social support. Facilitators plan and lead engaging, educational and social activities in their local community, both virtual and in person, when it’s safe to do so. We have groups for adults living with all types of arthritis and rheumatic conditions as well as groups for parents and/or guardians of children living with juvenile arthritis and their loved ones.
Online Community Moderator – We recruit a wide range of subject matter experts as Community Moderators for our Live Yes! Online Community. This opportunity provides a fun and engaging way to change the lives of people living with arthritis, especially those who are newly diagnosed.
Community Outreach – Community Outreach volunteers support local Arthritis Foundation efforts to connect with their local arthritis community to share opportunities, support and resources. You can join a team of volunteers who feel comfortable talking to people about their arthritis experience and are willing to reach out to their networks and to new community partners to build awareness of the Arthritis Foundation’s life-changing resources.
