OACS Online Conference

The 2021 OACS online conference will be convened on Friday December 3 and Friday December 10. In the first session, expert speakers will overview epidemiology, pathophysiology, genetics, biomechanics, imaging, and the diagnostic/therapeutic value of injections. In the second session, expert speakers will discuss treatment and management options such as orthotics, non-joint replacement, fusion and replacement, and other areas for treatment. This program was arranged by our 2021 OACS Conference Chair Charles Saltzman, MD (University of Utah).

2020 OACS Conference

The 2020 OACS online conference was convened December 8-10, 2020. The agenda featured Rising Star Speakers, 3-minute Video Posters, and two Forum Series Sessions. Our 2020 Conference Chair was Tuhina Neogi, MD/PhD (Boston University), our 2020 Video Poster Chair was Brian Pietrosimone, PhD/ATC (UNC Chapel Hill), and the 2020 Forum Series co-Chairs were David Felson, MD/MPH (Boston University) and Martin Lotz, MD (Scripps).

Our meetings were facilitated by a wonderful group of young scientists from the OA research community: Kevin Dibbern PhD (Univ. of Iowa), Emily Hunt, PhD/ATC (Brigham and Women’s Hospital) , Caroline Lisee, PhD/ATC (UNC Chapel Hill), Mingrui Yang, PhD (Cleveland Clinic), and Alessio Bricca, PhD (Univ. of Southern Denmark).
